Playing in Water
It was a really nice day last Thursday when I was working from home so I set my computer up ouside on the back porch. My wireless works out there and I had my cell phone so I was all set. I set up the gate to keep Bianca and Jonah from being able to reach anyone else’s deck space and keep them off the stairs.
Then, since is was a warm day. I pulled out Jonah’s bucket and shovels and let him play. I thought some water in his bucket would keep him entertained while I worked. I was right. He loved it. He played and splashed and chased the dog (who did not love that) and then finally picked up the whole bucket and poured it down his front. It was pretty funny and kept him occupied for a while. Two buckets worth of water in fact.

The only problem is now he seems to think any water he sees is for him to play in…the dog’s water bowl…the toilet…I may have created a monster.
(The photo isn’t the greatest quality since I took it from my phone but you get the idea.)

This is an adorable photo and a great story! I’ll never forget the day that I discovered Kate playing in the toilet…so gross. And ever after, water has been her thing. The tub, the ocean, the sink, the pool, the sprinkler and yes, the toilet.
I can’t believe how big he’s getting!
