Thanksgiving 2008

Published by Julie under Uncategorized

Jonah in a chef outfitWe had another nice Thanksgiving this year with the family.  Chris and I were tired of eating two turkey dinners on Thanksgiving so when we moved into our current condo with the big dining room we decided to host for both sides of the family.  We can just fit everyone at our table (when we add a card table to the end)  so it works out well.  The only people who were missing this year where Chris’s grandparents.  We were sad they couldn’t make it but we were thinking of them.

Jonah was a wonderful help in the kitchen the day before when I baked the pies and a couple of the other sides.  He helped me open cans and mix up ingredients.  You can see by the photo that he’s a mini chef in training.  He even knows to back away from the oven and because it’s “hot.”

In case we didn’t have enough desserts with my GF pumpkin pies, the pumpkin ice cream pie or Uncle Tim’s famous carrot bunt cake, my Aunt Lori also sent my mom a Thanksgiving cookie bouquet that was delicious, just ask Jonah.  I think he tried to eat a cookie about as big as his head!

Working from Home

Published by Julie under Uncategorized

Jonah and Julie Working at HomeI work from the office a few days a week and from home a couple as well.  Lately, Jonah has been interested in all of my equipment for work.  He wants to talk on my phone, twirl on my desk chair and type on my computer.  So that I could ALSO get some work done I set him up on his own PC next to me.  Check out the photo of us both getting some work done last week from home.  In no time at all I’ll have him updating spreadsheets for me.  :-)

My First Baby

Published by Julie under Uncategorized

OK, I know this is supposed to be a blog for Jonah, but I’ve been uploading photos from my camera today and came across these of Bianca that I love.  My aunt and uncle sent Jonah this Lamb Chop puppet that talks and everything.  It’s very cute but I’m not sure if Jonah likes it more or Bianca.  We can’t even leave it out or Bianca will take it and hide her away under our bed.  Maybe the white curly fur makes her think it’s a long lost cousin or something.  Either way I think theses photos are adorable, and after all, before Jonah, Bianca was my first baby.

Who’s Got the Giggles?

Published by Julie under Video

How many times does something cute or funny happen and no one else gets to see it.  This night I actually had the camera handy and close enough that Jonah didn’t get destrated from his game when I started filming.

It’s taken me a bit to figure out how to post it here or share it via email.  Hopefully this works.  Make sure to turn on your sound.  That’s the best part!
