History of the J Man

Though Jonah was a bear to get out of the house the morning of Emmett’s birthday party, once we got there he had a great time.  Brandy’s idea to have the party outside at a park was a good one.  Here’s a short video of Jonah playing with the wood chips, then eating a cupcake with Kerala.  The funniest part is a the end, I filmed the group photo session…make sure you have your sound on for that part.

I’m a bit slow in posting these photos but I feel like we just, finally, finished celebrating Jonah’s birthday.  These photos are from the party we had at our house with some of Jonah’s friends and their families.  We had a Curious George cake for most people and a gluten-free cake for a few of us. 

We made shakers and Chris, Sean and Matt performed a few songs for everyone.  Jonah got into it with his shaker and decided to join the band.  He even traded shakers with daddy part way through a song. 

At the end we opened gifts. There’s a photo below of him with one of his new favorite toys, a bat (he now has quite a few to choose from and loves them all).
